What is the PDC?

The Professional Development Committee (PDC) of VTRID is committed to producing, supporting and promoting a variety of learning opportunities for Vermont interpreters. In order to address the varying needs of its members, the PDC encourages the membership to express their wishes about topics, locations, timing. If you have any ideas about potential training opportunities please contact any of the PDC members.

VTRID is an approved sponsor of the RID CMP and ACET program that awards continuing education credit to certified and pre-certified interpreters.

We’re not currently offering a formal mentorship program but the PDC is designed to support professional growth for interpreters at all levels. For anyone who is interested in 1:1 mentoring, please contact a PDC member for guidance in pursuing this option.
